8:50am
I wake up and lie around for a while, groggy from a OK night’s sleep.

10:00am
Live BHM ride with Ally. The music is really good. It’s only 20 minutes but harder than I expected. I tear up a little at the end thinking about where I’ve been and how far I’ve come.

10:30am
I take the iPad from the bike to the kitchen read at the island. I’ve been recently obsessed with LaMelo Ball so I’m devouring every article I can find about the kid. His trajectory is fascinating to me, feels like a route I’d have taken had I stuck with basketball.
I make some breakfast. It’s Huel. Few would consider it breakfast in the traditional sense but it has enough calories to be that.

11:15am
Time for the second workout of the day.
I browse Twitter in between reps, sending random links to my partner when I find something interesting. We exchange little text messages about moving to Pittsburgh.

11:50am
Cool down and more reading.

12:40pm
Time to call my mom, she worries.
We talk about this and that. from the weather to my parents amicable divorce.
By now I have the iPhone, iPad, MacBook, AirPods and Apple Watch going. They’ve gotten plenty of work today.

1:40pm
Update various operating systems (iPad and MacBook) while reading a bit more and browsing Twitter.

2:30pm
Finally — a long shower and relaxation.

3:00pm
Video games and snacks.

4:00pm
Snacks are gone.

4:30pm
Super Bowl on the laptop (muted) and more Agents of Shield on the TV (sans snacks).

7:30pm
Cleaning in preparation for the week — and the return of my partner from her staycation.

8:30pm
More video games before bed. Those players aren’t going to coach themselves.

10:00pm
Put on a good podcast (about people getting bamboozled over gray-market ticket resellers.

10:30pm
Time for bed, the week is quickly approaching.
